47 Lab 4713 Flatfish and 4705 Progression Gemini (with 4799 Power Dumpty) Set, for only HK$38,888

47 Lab launched its signature DAC 4705 Progression Gemini 20 years ago, with a “Non-oversampling, Digital-filter-less DAC” concept. It aims to bring “a natural, stress-free sound that communicates the musician’ intention directly to you”. The design highlights of 4705 are: absence of both analog and digital filters, passive I/V conversion, claimed shortest signal path of 35mm among all DACs, and claimed smallest number of parts used in any DAC.

The DAC is in perfect combination with 47 Lab 4713 Flatfish CD Player, which is the smallest single-box CD player we have used for high-end audio system but brings maximization of CD format’s potential. Flatfish features a compact chassis, a quick and proper channeling of mechanical resonance, and a specific mass that is engineered to release disruptive vibrations. The features produce superior sonic results and offer shocking advancement of CD playback quality.

Both Progression Gemini and Flatfish are powered by the standalone 4799 Power Dumpty.

47 Lab’s tonal prowess is driven by its advanced understanding of digital audio and laboratory-style acoustic treatment for the utmost in microdynamics. The set forms a formidable elite CD system and offers unique ambience and sonic signature from each and every CD.

The market price for this combo is USD9,900 (or HKD77,200).  This set is distributor’s display set and 90% new, it is now offered at HKD38,888 only.
